Advertising disclosure

The Garden Almanac is free to read. To keep it that way, the site may earn money in a few plain ways: display advertising (through networks such as Google AdSense), digital products we make ourselves (like seasonal planting planners), and, occasionally, affiliate links, where we earn a small commission if you buy something we recommend, at no extra cost to you.

Two promises. First, advice comes before income: we never recommend a product, timing, or method because it pays better. Second, if a specific article contains affiliate links, we will say so on that article.
