The Garden Almanac engraved sunflower mark

A garden, kept together.

The Garden Almanac began as a Facebook page where gardeners shared photos, small wins, and the occasional heartbreak of a late frost. It grew into a community of thousands, and the community kept asking for the same thing: keep the advice somewhere we can find it again.

This site is that somewhere. It is a working almanac for the 2026 season: growing guides drawn from questions real gardeners ask, a month by month planting calendar, and daily readings of the moon and the light. No pop-up walls, no recipe-blog life stories, just the useful part.

The garden itself still lives day to day on Facebook, where we post every morning and evening through the season. The almanac grows a few entries at a time, and the calendar fills in as the year turns.
